Dillon & John Hartman, grew up in the southwest. We have been influenced our entire life by the old west atmosphere that we lived in. This lead us to one of our life loves.... Turquoise!! We have been involved in turquoise ever since.

We started with Jewelry fabrication and stone cutting. We have had several business manufacturing silver and gold jewelry. Our latest is a small family business focusing on highend handmade gold and silver jewelry, that we opened in 2002 as Dillon desired to get out of the internet business and back into the old family business of jewelry. John began to teach Dillon by cutting stone from his stash of turquoise from previous businesses. During cutting this stash Dillon ran into some Damale turquoise and fell in love. He became obsessed trying to find more, this eventually lead him to Shellbone Williams, our partner in the Nevada Blue Gem, Tortoise Turquoise Mine, Miss Moffet, Haley's Comet and Miss Moffet Mines. We specialize in Sterling Silver Jewelry Rings with our American Turquoise from Nevada and Natural American Turquoise from old collections. We have become well know for our rings and many people all over the world have a handmade Silver Turquoise Ring from Durango, Colorado.

More about the Hartmans:

In 1975, we purchased our property just west of Durango Colorado on the Hwy leading towards Mesa Verde National Park. We opened in 1976 dealing in antique firearms, antique Indian items, western memorabilia and Vintage Turquoise Jewelry. We have had a brisk business here in Durango since.

If you come to Durango, make certain you plan on visiting our Trading Company, it has become one of the most historic trading companies in the Four Corners region. Heading west from Durango towards Mesa Verde National Park, travel about four miles until you see a large log lodge building with a huge arch of deer antlers out front. This arch consists of over 3,600 deer and elk shed antlers from this area. It is an awesome site and you will want to take your pictures here.
